My Background is that of a skilled and inventive embroiderer - my degree being a BA(Hons) Embroidery. This where I delevoped and honed my skills that have helped me to create many of the items on this website. I have always been interested in creative crafts, and from this interest I have followed it through my education.

I am also a Championship level Irish dancer having competed for many years at national and international level. I had always looked and wondered how the Irish Dance dresses were made. With my background in embroidery I did have some idea about how. Having recently retired from competitive dancing, I thought I would take this interest one step further and start making Irish Dance dresses.

This company was set up on the back of my degree and my developing skill as a dress maker (not just as a maker of Irish dance dresses). I also make bespoke garments, specialising in dresses for special occasions. You will also see from the MBM links that, using my embroidery skills, I have been making individualised gifts. As my life has change I added a new section to the MBM collection and that is MBM Bambinos. This is were I have created one off babygros, sleepsuits, and other craft items.
